@AGrumpyScotsman I usually play on the hardest mode from the start. The only time I don't is if I'm forced to play on a lower setting first in order to unlock a harder mode.
@harpsibored Chaos. He was always a pain on challenge runs. Most of the other bosses were easy in comparison. Seph was likely the worst, she I was way overleveled and geared when I fought him... I basically oneshot each of his forms. He also just wasn't that interesting as a person.
@mkoivuka @DoodToon They use video effects for those too... Logan is one of the best examples of them doing this. Hugh Jackman kept messing up the shots and they ran out of sunlight. They ended up replacing him with a 3d cgi model so they could get the lighting right for the final cut.
@FFVIINovels Dirge of Cerberus takes place after the original ff7 story and the movie, and they left it on a cliffhanger for a sequel it never got... So no, I doubt part 3 will wrap it all up. At most it will just cause a paradox that invalidates the timeline, resetting everything.
@Retrogamebrews Reminds me of an old bethesda commercial where they said they honored the single player experience... Shortly after they started pushing multiplayer junk and always online stuff.
@FF8_Garden Oh and the remaster is a 5, btw. No chocobo world, long load times, and easy access to cheats makes it more like a story mode than an actual game. unskippable cutscenes and the old limited save system also is a negative for today's games.
@FF8_Garden og with chocobo world? 8. Without it, about a 6. That said, it's one of my fav ff game, and I've 100%ed almost all of them. The leveling trick is pretty fun to play around and it has the best card game in ff (excluding ff14, but that's just ff8 with more stuff.)
