I don’t feel sorry for him at all. Here’s why

In 2024 my mother died suddenly from a blood clot. She wasn’t even 50. I was on shift when I got the call. I left work and went straight to my mum and dad’s house. I was severely depressed for two to four weeks and couldn’t work. I lost my job after two weeks of not showing up. I didn’t fight it. I was on a zero-hours contract and probably had no grounds to.

My girlfriend, now fiancée, and I privately rented a house. After a month with no income we couldn’t pay rent. I reluctantly got a job around week five. When rent was due I explained I had a job and would pay both months in seven or eight days. The landlord didn’t care and evicted us

23 million people in the UK have less than £1,000 in savings, yet they send £20 billion to Ukraine and put people in hotels, 400 hotels at one point for foreigners. As a British citizen I’ve slept on the streets, in cars and on sofas while the council said they couldn’t help a single male.
