Alright, beautiful people. Character design talk! Some folks are acting upset by the Danger uwu-ification and while I know they're being fake mad, we should talk about it anyway.
I just learned about Danger's existence yesterday and her original design is very technically cool. Sharp, abrasive, chaotic, it looks like it would hurt to touch her. If that was the point of her look, it's a successful design. Like I said, very cool design but I don't want to spend time with this character though. It's hard to look at, my eyes are drawn to the face but the face is extremely harsh and unappealing. Silhouette is a little close Warlock imo and I probably wouldn't pick that character to be my main in a fighting game.
OG Danger has a very weak design philosophy. New Danger CLEARS the fuck out of it. Very friend shaped with soft friendly circles replacing the harsh sharp triangles. Still keeps some of the recognizable bits of OG Danger (the black circuitry patterning on the body and face, and the luminescent dreads) and defining them with a clearer idea and more committed choices. Kept the cold blue coloring to let you know she's a machine but the eyes are very soulful and human which suggests there's warmth beneath. Looks like a young girl because Japan and the game is omega anime style so we shouldn't be surprised.
New Danger is SUPER appealing. Cute but still cool, plushie potential through the roof, memorable and easier for a child to draw. I want to see her in Rivals lol.
Let's keep in mind that this is probably not gonna replace the old Danger. This is just Arcsys interpretation of the character this one time...but I wouldn't be surprised to see this character get a spotlight boost in the comics. Also, stop editing her eyes as black, it ruins it.
@NightMareEffec Lmao, sometimes I can't help it. Lv2 is good at punishing meaty fireballs, but I definitely do it too often and regret it when it misses
