It's been a while since I posted some #NES#pixelart. 9 colors across the four palettes. I've been assured this can be made to work with a 16x8 color attribute if the programmer bangs their head on the keyboard for long enough.

One of the best things about writting clean code is how easy it is to do cool shit.

@KrakenCombo I have been thinking of something like this for a while, could be very nicely coupled with some pseudo 3d platforming with a nice sky, it so in between top down and sideview
The Legendary Axe concept mockup. Research was tough. I have no connection to the game or the turbografx-16 whatsoever, but the final boss being a weird and unsettling merger of confused cavemen held together by an eldric mass was captivating.
