@SciShowTangents I was listening to todays episode and just wanted to add to the etymology: the sm- part is probably somethng called "sound metaphor", when a language connexts sounds and meanings. A lot of nose words start with sn or sm, snore, snout, and smell!

@SciShowTangents I think something that would be cool for the etymology section would be cognates. Wood actually comes from an old PIE word meaning "split" (which is related to the word two) and that's also related to wide!
