@harivrs@OMRupdates@RamsarConv Oh! I thought they barricaded as some bridge construction is going to happen. Without getting any approval from gov is the department demarcating for dumpyard?
@harivrs@OMRupdates@RamsarConv Can a military bridge be put so that traffic can pass through to global hospital road? This will ease traffic in nukkampalayam link road.
One man entered HDFC bank with a gun and 2 lakh rupees. On entering itself he shot a bullet in the air and shouted. "If someone tries to move from their seats and try to convince me for any Investment plan or SIP or Trading Account or RD or mutual fund...I'll start firing.. I came here just to deposit my money in my account." ....
That's it
😂😂😂
Yesterday, I mentioned how young women from other states working in a footwear shop in Chennai earn around ₹35,000 to₹40,000 a month, including incentives.
I visit a popular salon chain. My regular hairstylist is from West Bengal and has been living in Chennai for nearly a decade. His wife, also from Bengal, works as a hairstylist in a different chain. The couple has one daughter, who studies in their hometown and stays with her grandparents.
Together, they earn more than ₹1 lakh a month from salaries, incentives, and customer tips. He says he never imagined he could earn this much. Over the years, they have saved around ₹25 lakh, excluding their provident fund.
The salon chains they work for regularly provide training on new products and trends. This continuous upskilling keeps them professionally updated and employable.
He mentioned that although no one in Chennai speaks Hindi, no one has ever treated him badly for being from another state. He is grateful that Chennai has positively transformed his family’s financial trajectory.
There is a huge perception gap between the reality of how welcoming and opportunity rich Chennai is and the false narratives being spread about it.
@Vincentsjotting I too against destroying marshland/lakes, but govt should develop suburbs more than inside the city, else with these developments real estate price will increase. Less developments around marshlands and lakes will mean less space for real estate and hence more price increase.
Bengaluru's rent vs EMI gap is shrinking. With prime ORR rents crossing ₹70K/month and rents up 80–90% in 5 years, more professionals are choosing to build equity instead of paying ever-higher rents. 🏡📈
@Alphamojo1 This looks only at rental yield, price appreciation is no taken into cnsideration, rental yield is taxed as well, so dont look at only rental yield alone.
Transport Minister said today that he has been advised to procure only air-conditioned buses. No more ordinary non-AC buses.
The Chief Minister is very particular that the public in Tamil Nadu should henceforth travel only in AC buses.
I feel this is a very good move. In a tropical country like ours, with rising temperatures, air conditioners are no longer a luxury but a necessity. This would significantly improve the quality of life for the people.
Many decades ago, Lee Kuan Yew realised why air conditioners are a must and started providing them everywhere, even before Singapore became economically powerful.
