#OldBangalore: MG Road, 1967. One of the rarest picture you'll ever see. On the left, a woman wearing a saree is seen riding a scooter. On the right, the bygone and legendary ‘3 Aces’ club is standing in all its glory. 3 Aces club was the most happening place back in the day. On the right, students (I assume from St. Joseph's) are seen walking and and having a jolly time. This was a time when MG Road stood in all its grandeur, but sadly the Metro pillar took its beauty away from 2007 onwards changing the entire landscape into an eyesore.
The Bangalore which people in the picture saw is a completely different Bengaluru from the one we're all seeing today.

Movie goers in deep conversation with friends while waiting for the 2nd show (night show) to begin.
The film timings for the theatre was 11:30 AM, 2:30 PM, 6:30 PM, and 9:30 PM.
The theatre had ample space inside its premises and was built in 1974. It faced demolition in 2024 and a new multiplex complex will take its place next.

The 22-acre factory 'Mysore Lamps' at the end of Malleshwaram in Bangalore could soon end up being demolished to make way for a Convention Center as per the governments new plan. Citizens are already against the move urging to create a park, green space instead.
The factory had been non-functional for over 2-3 decades now and remained closed.

#OldBangalore: Bangalore-based India's first heavy metal band #Millennium posing for a pic at #AirlinesHotel in 1996. One of the greatest & memorable band that ever existed in the country. The last I saw them live was in March 2008, when the opened for #Megadeth in #Bangalore
