A gunman opened fire at King Soopers in Boulder, Colorado—a grocery store not too different from the one I was shot in front of. No community should ever know this pain. Today and always, my heart is with the victims’ families and the Boulder community.

Trivia: Stanwyck’s commentary about the women chasing Charles was written like a stand-up routine. She delivered it so smoothly, viewers thought parts were improvised.
