A large Beech tree has fallen, following last nights storm, blocking the steps beside the crematorium (at the top of the valley)
Please use an alternative route.
The footpath will remain closed until the tree can be safely removed and repairs made.

Hog rescue number 2
Thanks to Ryan for rescuing a Hedgehog and leaving it at our main store, in a box. Yesterday evening we went around and placed the hedgehog into one of our warm and dry hedgehog hibernation boxes (with dog food kindly donated ) in a quiet part of the reserve

Local photographer โ Lynne Overett โ has spent a year roaming all areas of the nature reserve, in her desire to capture the wildlife and beauty of the nature reserve. In the process she has produced a wonderful book. Please see our website for more details

Earlier in the year, we started a new project called "Way To Go". Around 70 new direction arrows and feature signs have been put up around the reserve.
