Dr. Jill Underly, WI State Superintendent of Public Instruction, has declared April 2023 as School Library Month to recognize school libraries and the valuable role of school librarians in educating our youth throughout Wisconsin. Thank you for your ongoing support!
School library programs provide access to a wide variety of essential materials. Libraries are a place where all students can see themselves reflected or step into another world to gain a different perspective.

A huge thanks to everyone within BDUSD who contributed to the district’s annual food drive last week. Over 10,700 lbs were collected & distributed to food pantries in Beaver Dam. That’s over 5 tons! 💚💛🙏💛💚
@stumpteacher We are taking books to the classrooms at elementary. A request form at our secondary level. Students can come in the high school by appointment. They must sanitize be socially distanced and wear disposable gloves to book browse.
As are so many Wisconsinites and Americans, I am watching these horrifying events unfold in Washington, D.C. in disbelief. The peaceful transfer of power is at the very heart of our government and our country. This is an attack on our democracy. Period.
