(Live in Brussel, 1964)
Listening to erroll garner's performance, he often uses octaves and "four-to-the-bar" rhythmic strumming technique.

The sixth album from one of the genre's most enduring groups, and the first release ever on Linear Labs. Two decades after '93 Til Infinity, hip-hop's Fab Four proved they were still expanding what the music could be.
Available to stream and on vinyl.

I loved hosting the Q&A with Glenn Adamson, @laurenzazzles and @GeorgieRankcom at 'Dark Of The Moon' tonight.
That show is even better the second time around, and I look forward to seeing what awaits this exciting new musical in the future.
OTD 05JUN1968 The #Beatles continued work on the ‘White Album’ at Studio Three, EMI Studios, London, recording the backing track to Ringo’s first solo composition, ‘Don’t Pass Me By’. #TheBeatles#WhiteAlbum
The short video captures an impressive moment as the tenor Angelo Loforese, even at the age of 93, confidently showcases his masterful opera technique and powerful vocals alongside the piano.
A look at last night’s first concert with the @chicagosymphony, June 4, 2026, at Symphony Center in Chicago.
The evening opened with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra performing John Adams’ "The Rock You Stand On" and Copland’s "Suite from Appalachian Spring", conducted by the great Maestro Marin Alsop. After intermission, the @jazzdotorg joined the CSO for movements I, IV, V, and VI of "The Jungle".
Before going on stage, our trumpet section had a chance to pose for a photo with the great trumpet section of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The CSO brass section has long been known for its brilliance, power, and distinctive “Chicago Sound,” and has served as a model for generations of American brass players.
We perform the same program again today in a matinee performance, and tomorrow night for the final concert of this Chicago run.

Can you believe Maestro film music composer John Williams has been collaborating with Steven Spielberg for 30 years?!
Aged 94 he composed the score for Disclosure Day.
Nothing beats an orchestra’s power & emotional depth in film.
