Someone said: Normalize celebrating this:
– a roof over your head
– a warm shower
– having clean water
– a day without pain
– moments of gratitude
These are blessings too.

Poor cat "Burito" dumped in a kitten trap and left with injuries trying to escape. The rescue is full but they found room for this boy. (Much evil is afoot, there & everywhere)! 🙁😡🙏

This Should Never Happen
Today we were contacted by a good Samaritan who came across something absolutely heartbreaking… A cat trapped inside a kitten-sized trap—with no way to know how long he’d been there, and clearly injured from trying to escape.
We rushed out as fast as we could—there within the hour—and what we found was devastating. A full-grown, unfixed male cat was crammed into a tiny trap meant for kittens. In his panic to get out, he tore out large chunks of his own fur and skin.
We’ve named him Burrito—because in that tiny trap, that’s exactly what he looked like, all squished and wrapped up with no way out.
We have no idea who set the trap or how long he suffered in it. What we do know is that it was cruel, illegal, and completely avoidable.
Burrito is:
• Extremely friendly
• Unfixed
• No microchip
• No tattoo
• Covered in ear mites
• Injured from thrashing in the trap
We didn’t have space, but leaving him there was not an option. He’s now safe in an emergency pen—and he deserves every bit of that lifeline.
We also took the trap with us. Whoever set it won’t be using that one again.
This WILL be reported to the authorities.
Leaving animals in traps unattended is against the law for a reason. They can suffer horrific, self-inflicted injuries—physically and emotionally—when left without supervision.
At our rescue, we follow strict trapping protocols:
• Traps are never left unattended
• A camera or human eyes are on them at ALL times
• We use appropriately sized traps and humane methods
• Animals are removed immediately and given proper care
What happened today is exactly why education and accountability matter. Burrito suffered because someone was irresponsible—or worse.
Please, if you see a trap set out:
Check it
Take note of its location
Report it if animals are being put at risk
And if you ever find a trapped animal—CALL. We will always do everything in our power to help.
Burrito is safe tonight because someone cared enough to speak up.
Today, an Air China flight (CA139) from Hangzhou to Incheon was forced to make an emergency landing in Shanghai, China, after a lithium battery in a passenger’s overhead bag caught fire.
For far too long, our nation has encouraged one path to success: a four-year college degree.
As president, I will get rid of the unnecessary degree requirement for federal jobs.
