@Teallyz I’d recommend hanging out with the person you want to collab with before you stream together so you can see if you two really mesh well together or if it’ll just be one person talking the other time while the other ones being awkward and silent.
This is why it's important to NOT feed wildlife! Not only is it a risk to their health, but it also makes them see humans as a food source which can cause them to abandon natural instincts and become aggressive putting you and them in a very dangerous situations! Leave no trace🚫
While Maya and Adapt are able to be this close to the bears because they are with trained professionals, park attendees also find themselves in close proximity to bears frequently with attacks being extremely rare. I highly recommend watching the stream! I always learn a lot ❤️🐻
They don't view people as a threat or source of food but rather an uninteresting part of the environment as long as you remain calm and behave predictably. They only really care about catching salmon they need to get fat for winter. There has only ever been 1 recorded mauling-
A lot of uninformed comments are calling them stupid but they were pretty transparent on stream on why this is okay. They're in Katmai National Park and since hunting is banned here and visitors have been diligent about not feeding bears, bears here are habitutuated to humans-
I think a lot of people miss what the author was trying to explore.
Rudy wasn’t introduced as a role model. He was introduced as someone who wasted his life after years of bullying, isolation, and shutting himself off from the world.
People like that exist in real life today. They’re socially withdrawn, emotionally stunted, and escape into fantasy because reality has completely defeated them.
The fantasy isn’t there to reward Rudy’s past. It’s there to ask a question:
“If someone who completely failed at life was given a genuine second chance, could they become a better person?”
You don’t have to like Rudy. You don’t have to forgive everything he does.
But reducing the entire story to “the author supports this behavior” ignores the larger theme of redemption, growth, and rebuilding a life from absolute rock bottom.
Sometimes it’s worth asking what a story is trying to explore instead of assuming it’s endorsing every action its protagonist takes.
