HB 30 - The Virginia Budget bill that has harmful legislation inserted that prohibits some hemp products, adds a lot of red tape for hemp businesses, and adds criminal penalties for intoxicating cannabis has passed the House 88-7 and the Senate 32-4.

We cannot criminalize any hemp-derived products in this bill. Prohibition does not do what its intended goals are in most cases. There is no black market for beer, wine, liquor or tobacco.
