Congratulations to our 6th-grade winners for the 2023 President's Award for Academic Excellence. These students maintained high grades in both academic and citizenship skills, as well as scored a pass advance on at least 1 SOL. Keep soaring!
This year, VRES sent these amazing 6th-grade singers who auditioned and were chosen for the FCPS All-County Chorus. We can't wait to see the great things you continue to do as you start your journey at Stone M.S.

VRES Summer Bookmobile – FREE BOOKS!
All students and families are welcome to visit us in every neighborhood! Books are free and yours to keep! Our first event is June 28 - Meadows of Chantilly Clubhouse, 11 am - 12 pm.
Ms. Martinez Gonzalez and Ms. McGovern's class participated in the Pringle Ringle - an engineering challenge. Rules for this activity was no glue, no tape, and the hardest no talking! Each team rocked it!!! These were our winning teams!
Our 6th graders got to listen to stories by Gary Lloyd - a former librarian - during his annual Amazing Escapes story telling. The students had to figure out if each story was true or false.
