Back from three days on the Adamello Glacier searching for springtails.
They are key players in the glacial ecosystem, but past surveys failed to find them. This year, we finally found a few! Yet, their low numbers raise new questions since they typically form large populations

In the last days I attended the @21stECM, where I got to present my MSc thesis on glacial and periglacial carabid beetles 🪲 @dbiosunito @MUSE_Trento @nbfc_italy
It was a wonderful experience, shared with nice and inspiring people! Happy to have got the chance to be part of it!
