With all the “smash and grabs” right now, this should be a completely run-of-the mill problem, but Tesla doesn’t even have a “window repair” option when requesting a service appointment - and as I found out the hard way, they might just refuse to do the work! Yikes!!! 3/3

The body shops Tesla referred me to have said they won’t do it - too small a job.

The auto glass specialists have said they can’t get the part - said Tesla won’t even return their calls. And all are demanding the VIN to have any hope of getting Tesla’s attention. 2/3

My small rear vent window was smashed last Saturday night. Tesla says their mobile unit serving SF won’t fix it (although the East Bay mobile unit would, if I were on the other side of the bridge, too bad for me). 1/3

Why does MacOS ignore display settings every time it reboots after an OS patch? Going into display preferences fixes it, so it hasn’t lost the settings. But the OS ignoring the underscan setting makes it tricky to go into preferences...every single time. Fix your stuff #apple.
