Catherine Middleton, ceased being a Middleton when she married her husband HRH Prince William on Friday, 29th April, 2011. Over 15 years ago!!

Upon marriage Catherine officially became Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge (along with the regional titles Countess of Strathearn and Lady Carrickfergus).

Technically, upon the moment of marriage, she also became Her Royal Highness Princess William of Wales, but her primary peerage title given by the Queen was the Duchess of Cambridge.

When Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8, 2022, Catherine's titles immediately updated to Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge, and she was officially named the Princess of Wales by King Charles III shortly after.

Her full set of titles at that time included:
•Princess of Wales
•Duchess of Cornwall
•Duchess of Cambridge
•Countess of Strathearn
•Baroness of Carrickfergus
