The UK government has barred Hasan Piker and Cenk Uygur from entering the country over their criticism of Israel.

Meanwhile, war criminal Isaac Herzog, whose statements were cited in the ICJ genocide case against Israel, was welcomed at Downing Street with open arms.

Shabana Mahmood - Labour MP for Birmingham Ladywood since 2010 and currently Home Secretary of the United Kingdom.

I think the ‘turning’ (if that’s what it was) of Shabana Mahmood is one of the great untold stories in British politics. She joined forces with McSweeney et al to found Labour Together in 2015 (the same year Corbyn became leader and Starmer became an MP) and thereafter worked with McSweeney and Starmer to bring down Corbyn’s leadership.

Her own ambition is a critical factor in everything. Her career closely interlinked with Starmer’s - the pair of them determined to destroy Corbyn and expel him from the Labour Party for good. And they did just that in the rigged motion they wrote together and submitted to Luke Akehurst, Gurinder Singh Josan, Johanna Baxter et al on Labour’s NEC.

Mahmood’s funding is worthy of attention, particularly in respect of the donations she’s received since October 7th and while she’s continued in her role as Home Secretary to implement laws that continue to clamp down on pro-Palestinian supporters.

The @ElectoralCommUK website shows that Mahmood has received £122,065.94 in donations. But what stands out is that none of the substantial donations she’s received from Labour Together appear on the Electoral Commission website. None.

The latest donation registered with the EC is £50,000 received from Francesca Sainsbury Perrin on 2nd October 2025. (Francesca Perrin is the daughter of Lord David Sainsbury. Both father and daughter are prominent donors to the Labour Party.) Mahmood was made Home Secretary just a month earlier on September 5th. The question then is why would a newly appointed Home Secretary accept a £50,000 donation so soon after taking up such an important ministerial role? What influence if any was Francesca Perrin hoping to gain with such a substantial donation to the British Home Secretary?

Francesca Perrin also gave Shabana Mahmood £25,000 in 2023.

Labour Together is the organisation/think tank/ consortium whose nefarious activities are becoming more widely known. Only this week, @johnmcdonnellMP stood up in the House of Commons and called for a full public, independent inquiry into their practices and the influence they’ve had on the Labour Party over the last ten years or so.

Journalist and author Paul Holden has meticulously detailed the activities of Labour Together in his book The Fraud - activities which included not declaring £730-745,000 to the @ElectoralCommUK - money that was used to ‘build the political infrastructure that enabled Starmer’s 2020 leadership victory.’

As mentioned above, none of Shabana Mahmood’s substantial donations from Labour Together are registered on the @ElectoralCommUK website.

Labour Together’s funders include Sir Trevor Chinn, Martin Taylor and Gary Lubner. Lubner has given over £1,000,000 to Labour Together, this on top of the substantial donations he’s given to individual Labour MPs.

Shabana Mahmood has received, over four payments, a total of £137,168.00 from Labour Together. The same organisation she’s been closely connected with since 2015.

The first of these payments was £6,000 in October 2023. The second, in November 2023, was a whopping £68,000.00. Another substantial payment was £52,112.00 in April 2024 and a further donation of £11,056 in the same month. To repeat, none of these Labour Together payments would appear to have been registered with the @ElectoralCommUK .

Shabana Mahmood has also received £25,000 from Martin Taylor over two payments.

Again, it is pertinent to ask if these donations, mainly given to Mahmood after October 7th, have in any way influenced the decisions she made as The Secretary of State for Justice and Lord Chancellor and the decisions she’s now making as Home Secretary?
