@mojo_take19@WarhammerMents@RockstarGames You do realize a gaming PC is way, way more expensive than a console, right?
Console prices are subsidized so brokies can afford them.
@BamBamRanger@asha_shar That's a false equivalency argument. You can make a profit without ruining studios, and more importantly you can be more aware of the nearly universal displeasure of those actions by owning up to failures and cutting grift rather than FTEs.
@Aura_Protects More, if your child runs out of screen time, they can keep using other apps that have screen time limits left! Nothing stops a kid from downloading 48 hours of Netflix or YouTube and watching for 48 hours straight no matter what you set as screen time limits!
@Aura_Protects is an incredibly misleading software solution for parental controls. They block INTERNET access NOT screen time. They word it as app limits and screen time limits, but only block network use by the apps. Netflix downloaded videos still play, for example.
@elonmusk Can we get some memory upgrades? For a libertarian, I feel like you should be more supportive of enabling consumers to run their own computers, but Ai is steadily driving pricing out of reach for most people
@JustTommy666 At that cost? Not many. If it was 699-799? Then it'd give console like experience for Steam games. You can't make a PC act like a console as well as this, especially given things like the 'simple' Ui/UX it offers; and HDMI CEC is a huge part too.
@geerlingguy I got my garage door motor to make magic smoke this winter. I was super excited. Until I realized the previous owner had tied two 20a circuits into a single 10/2 UF line running the 2nd hot over the neutral and ran the neutral back on the ground. The magic smoke wasn't magic.
@IRanMediaco It's almost like we value people more than material things. Not that Iranian loyalist would understand that concept given the atrocities they've perpetrated against their own people.
