So much controversy over an image that is not even real. This is a fake pic guys! Not that there is anything wrong even if it looks like this, but this is an AI generated image.
Welcome To Hiranandani: the contrast between the grand architecture and the everyday reality.
People spend crores buying luxury apartments.
They study floor plans for months, debate sea views versus city views, admire Italian marble, German kitchens, designer façades, and brochures that promise "elevated living."
Then comes laundry day. The million-rupee balcony transforms into a full-fledged Dhobi Ghat. Bedsheets flap like national flags, towels perform aerial acrobatics, pajamas sway proudly, and an occasional pair of socks hangs with complete disregard for architecture.
The building was designed in a grand style. The residents redesigned it in the timeless style of Indian practicality.
Perhaps every luxury apartment should come with a disclaimer:
"View subject to change. On weekends, your panoramic skyline may include your neighbour's bedsheet, T-shirts, and three generations of drying clothes."
After all, nothing humbles a multi-crore address quite like a clothesline.
@shreyansmehta First they should fix what is directly in their span of control... Autos and Taxis. Government licensed. Then go-around advising capitalist companies like Uber/Ola/Rapido.
@b50 We should be less worried about India becoming like Nazi-Germany or Fascist-Italy - It is not going to happen. We should be worried about turning into a China like one-party state.
Vir I hate to break it to you but you’re not the spokesperson for a generation you have self-categorised as “dumbass”. Maybe you were too disillusioned or “distracted by life” to remember the anti-corruption protests or two recessions or wars that kinda impacted us.
This is not the first generation and won’t be the last to visualise a future and then eventually accept reality, and that’s the circle of life. You invalidating your peers is, on the other hand, entirely avoidable.
If you're so much into science and technology and think the BJP needs to be given the belt treatment for fucking up so badly, then please focus on NavIC's death (India's navigation system) than those wannabe cockroaches.
Modi gov has very systematically killed off a very critical project amid lack of funding, zero vision, and super misplaced priorities.
ISRO is in tatters right now while the West is at least 75 years ahead in rocketry minimum, and it has incredible scale + backing from the private sector. PSLV is a dead end.
At the same time, Maharashtra's Devendra Fadanvis is waiving off ₹48,000 crore worth of electricity dues, while spending even more annually on Ladli Behnas. For a fraction of that sum we can develop our own jet engines.
If anyone is sitting on a Hunger Strike for such issues, I'm all in. But if you're expecting me to spare a thought for a cockroach inventor whose claim to fame is turning a Chetak scooter into a wheat mill, then boss sorry, ye pura desh chunotiyon se nahi, chutiyon se bhara hai.
Everyone wants to pretend they can hold the gov accountable lmao by posting Insta stories.
Civic apathy in Mumbai should stop being called negligence. It is wilful dereliction of duty and when it kills a resident, it should be called manslaughter and punished accordingly. A precedent needs to be set. Enough of this #SpiritOfMumbai.
@krownnist Are you speaking specifically about the current bill generated? Yes, it has been insane growth of +35% on units consumed, which doesn't seem logical.
@missmaddenstein@ShivamVahia Umm, try paying the nanny, gardener, handyman? The person making the transfer is not the only "customer". Vendors, Payees, etc. also are "customers".
@MehulThakkar_ Disagree with your POV, since you've called the 'exception case' as 'average case' in your infographic. But I'll leave it at that. Everything else was interesting to hear, on how specific suburbs are leading the charge when it comes to redevelopment.
@lavsmohan It's everywhere. I am willing to bet $10, that before end of the year, we will see an AI-backlash. I just caught myself in the morning, telling my 6-yr daughter who was browsing YouTube for Tom & Jerry videos, on how to identify real v/s AI.
@b50 I reached a similar conclusion. You've excluded only Next 50 from the Nifty500. For my horizon of 25 years, I decided to go 60% MidCap150, and 40% Nifty50. Smallcaps are too volatile, and not convinced on passive in this category. I am in Yr 5 of my journey, 8% CAGR to-date.
Update on my previous post: I ordered a ₹3 Lakh RTX 5090 on @AmazonIN and got a 1.56kg packet of detergent. Amazon promised a refund to kill the social media buzz, but they're just stalling. Now, I've uncovered a massive internal FBA fraud ring.

@eatsurenow Haha. The driver refused to deliver. Threatened, cancelled. Customer Care called - Offered to place fresh order, and personally ensure delivery. The new delivery guy called, refused to deliver again...
I now know why Zomato and Swiggy have become duopolies, and despite all their efforts @eatsurenow/@faasos, or lookalikes will never be able to break it. Poor customer service during growth/expansion phase ensure people will never give it a 2nd chance.
