Severely reduced LVF on echo with history of dilated cardiomyopathy and reduced CO. Would proceed with LVAD (Heartmate 3) maybe bridge for transplant. Will definitely need inotropic support in the CTICU so would need to be weaned off slowly with close monitoring of the RV function.

@MattWalshBlog From 2018 to 2023 big change. Probably lost weight and looks better because of that. From 2023 on no major change really just dark hair and less cheek bone.

What a foolish comment. Seems like your in urgent need of one. Would consult with a neurosurgeon who has completed over 10 years of training to specialize in that field. Likely you will have an NP managing your care post op so you may experience the exceptional care they provide.

This is not new, has been in that group for some time now. It’s amazing how many people don’t know this. It’s also in the same group as contraceptives, UV radiation ETOH etc. group 1 means that there sufficient evidence of causing cancer in humans, it’s not used to compare bacon to cigarettes!

I see, ok so it’s more like manifesting worsening underlying symptoms since it’s obviously not treating them on top of withdrawal symptoms which can vary based on the medication class as well as the individual, durations they were taking it as well as how quickly it was tapered off.
Going based on DSM-5 to diagnose mental illness is so tricky since a lot of the symptoms can overlap, it’s much different from medicine where we diagnose an illness with objective as well as subjective data and treat it and have objective data to support our treatment plan.

@TrackYourHeart Would love to see the vitals associated with this. I’m assuming patient is very unstable and the pericardiocentesis was done with this imaging.
