My fiancee was in Portugal and her family got into a serious accident, I had to get to her ASAP but VFS didn't give me any updates throughout the process. Once my visa came they even lost my passport. All they do is take money.

VFS operates one of the most unchecked and exploitative visa-processing monopolies in the world today.
It’s almost dystopian that an organization who fleeces their customers in broad f*cking daylight is still allowed to provide visa services.

The companies in the visa processing industry is often to blame in situations like these, especially VFS. Their massive f*ck ups with mishandling documents and their corrupt money-minting business model are no secret.

My husband & I are in Seattle Indian consulate

They granted him emergency visa for my mother being very sick. But rejected mine, literally saying my name is on a "reject list." And refusing to give explanation why.

We're refusing to leave.

They're threatening to call the police on us.

It's absolutely ridiculous that an organization that's so clearly rotten from the inside is still handed tenders to process visas given the sheer number of VFS horror stories there are out there.

I asked them to double-check my documents—they just read the checklist out loud like it was a damn script. I pushed again. Blank stares. Another guy read the same checklist. Still nothing. I had to beg for a manager just to find out I was missing a critical document.

I know, because I was trapped in it. While my fiancée was alone at her brother’s hospital bed, preparing for the worst, I was stuck at VFS, dealing with staff who had no idea what they were doing.

How the hell is VFS still in charge of our visas when literally NO ONE has anything good to say about them? It’s harder to find a positive review than it is to get an appointment. This system is a joke.
