Quite remarkable how obvious the play style differences between @TSpirit_Dota2 Yatoro and @PARIVISIONdota2 Satanic are! The heatmaps are showing their movement when on Radiant from minute 5-25 at #ti2026
The most static team at #ti2026 is @NigmaGalaxy. They're also the ones placing the most aggressive wards during the laning phase. Coincidence?
Map images from #VisageInsight show early-mid game observer wards and player positions when they're radiant. #dota2#esports
Following the stats on @LGDgaming's warding efficiency at #TI10, here's a heatmap of all their dewards (1) and sentries placed (2) before 25:00. Favour deep lane wards and spaces in between cliffs or just ward directly in the river. #dota2#dota2TI
The #dota2TI group stage is over and @LGDgaming is dominating. We've analysed every match they've played and are giving you a peek of what our data shows. Check it out below!

Vertigo is one of the maps I could see the 100t picking. Last time around the struggled for control of the A ramp on the CT and T sides. Here using @shadowanalytics you can see they didn't have a second wave of utility to slow down GenG who basically get control with 2 smokes.

Due to popular demand: Since 7.23 @Arteezy has spent a total of 5 minutes and 24 seconds on cliffs. This is actually 30% less than the average immortal player on per game basis!
1/2 The most apparent difference between @teamsecret and @EvilGeniuses is how Secret excels at constantly pushing out lanes, alleviating pressure and gaining information.
Compare @Arteezy's and @MATUMBAMAN's farming patterns below and see for yourself. #dota2#dhdl13
@LSDR1608 @tunglir @SheffieldEsport@NahazDota@LDeeep@teamsecret@EvilGeniuses@Arteezy@MATUMBAMAN Absolutely, just looking at a heatmap is not enough to draw a conclusion. But a heatmap gives you insights in differences in playstyles, like shown here, which you then can further investigate with more specific tools.
2/2 Looking at @nishadota and @abedyusop paints a very similar picture. This is by no means a new concept, but Secret seems to push it to the limits. No pun intended. #dota2#dhdl13

3/3 The heroes they picked are playing a big role in enabling this play style. Almost all have some form of mobility and pick off potential and many of those heroes also happen to be top meta picks right now. #dota2#BukovelMinor
1/3 @teamnigma's playstyle is vastly different from any other team at #BukovelMinor. Most teams are still stuck in old ways, securing Rosh by controlling the Radiant Triangle and Mid. Nigma instead opens up the map, taking both outposts and maximizing map control. #dota2
2/3 In large part this is due to @NigmaMiracle's and @NigmaW33's aggressiveness. Both are playing a very similar, active role, applying pressure and finding openings everywhere. Below you can find their individual movement patterns in the mid game. #dota2#BukovelMinor
