omg yes finally I was able to run a system update without completely bricking my system... thank god for snapshots but god damn it made me consider switching off cachyos for a little bit
Granted I'm still fairly new in my position. But it's also just insane how quickly I onboarded - like a week. I could probably handle more parallel tasks in the future but honestly, the mental load is already pretty intense especially throwing in code reviews throughout the day.
Strange world we live in. I understand the outrage around genAI and why people in certain communities hate it, but there's also the thing of people blindly hating anything they find out to be AI generated, when in reality (esp in software dev) the use of AI is widespread.
What worries me most now is the expectations around my output and the quantity of it when it comes to AI. I'm definitely outputting way more compared to before, but at the same time, I don't think it actually makes sense to parallelize my work streams anymore than I already am.
@i5NBs This is true, the AI just made it really easy for people who don't know how to write Dockerfiles and don't want to bother writing compose.yml files to do it really easily.
