Tuesday morning’s meeting is important because the @CommonsTreasury are going to be talking about @TheFCA.

It may be coincidence, but it is interesting that this meeting was organised very recently; perhaps it's been organised as a direct consequence of the @appgonifandffs's report on the FCA that was published last week?

If you wish to access relevant background information, please click below for the slide deck used at the briefings in Parliament last Tuesday (26th Nov)👇

...and click here for the full report by @appgonifandffs👇

The big question now is whether @TheFCA has actually transformed itself and whether the issues about @TheFCA's underlying behaviour that are detailed so extensively in the report are still there, or if there is now "nothing to see here anymore, FCA has all been fixed".

This seems to be a very polarising issue.

But what do you think?

Please share your thoughts, especially if, for example, you have recent insights regarding @TheFCA’s recent handling of cases such as Woodford, Philips Trust, Wealthtek, @TheFCA’s treatment of whistleblowers and so on.
