One Nation, One School.

That’s the demand this young woman just made at Jantar Mantar — and it’s the most honest thing said in this entire “Remove Reservation” circus.

She didn’t beg. She didn’t shout slogans. She simply asked:
“Will the Prime Minister’s son, the sanitation worker’s son, and Ambani’s child all study in the SAME school?
Then we can talk about talent.”

Why not?
Because the real reservation in this country is not SC/ST/OBC seats.

The real reservation is quality education reserved only for those who can pay.
Elite private schools and international boards for one India.

Government schools without benches, without teachers, without toilets for the other India.

You want “merit”?
First put every child in the same classroom. Same books. Same teacher. Same mid-day meal. Same future.

Until that happens, talking about “talent” while your kids sit in air-conditioned classrooms and theirs sit on the floor is not merit. It’s privilege dressed as principle.
She even offered a deal:
“From tomorrow, stop living on donations. We’ll give up reservation.

Implement one education system across the country. End the collegium system. We’re ready.”

That’s not anti-reservation. That’s calling the bluff.
If you truly believe in one nation, start with one school system.

Everything else is just noise from people who never had to sit in a classroom without a bench.
Why not?

A "cashless" health insurance policy is a sham when the customer is still forced to pay cash at every stage.

My son was admitted to Dr. L. H. Hiranandani Hospital, Mumbai, for just two days. Despite having a cashless policy from @HDFCERGOGIC I was asked to pay an advance deposit at the time of admission.

And while settling the final bill, another Rs 5,000 was deducted as non-medical expenses.

When I asked what exactly these "non-medical expenses" were, the answer was: gloves and masks.

Rs 5,000 for gloves and masks during a two day hospitalisation? Seriously?

And the grievance redressal? Mostly bots, scripted replies, and when a human finally responds: "Sorry, it’s policy."

If I have to pay upfront at admission, pay again at discharge, and then fight for answers, what exactly is "cashless" about this policy?

This is not customer service. This is a system designed to sell the promise of cashless treatment while shifting the burden back onto the patient and their family.

'दिमागी नक्सली' का क्या मतलब है? और इसकी शुरुआत कहाँ से हुई? 'दिमागी' का मतलब है मनोवैज्ञानिक (psychological)। 'नक्सल' का मतलब है उत्तर बंगाल में उगने वाली एक खास तरह की नदी की घास (कास घास), जिसमें चांदी जैसे रंग के फूल लगते हैं। 'नक्सली' नाम शिव के बेटे कार्तिकेय का हो सकता है, जिनका जन्म इन्हीं घास के बीच हुआ था।

देवताओं ने शिव से उनका वीर्य मांगा। तो शक्ति के गर्भ में रखने के बजाय, उन्होंने इसे अग्नि को दे दिया। अग्नि-देव जलने लगे। उन्होंने इसे गंगा नदी में फेंक दिया। गंगा उबलने लगी। नक्सल घास में आग लग गई। राख से एक लड़का निकला - नक्सली, शिव का बेटा। कृतिका नक्षत्र ने उनका पालन-पोषण किया, इसलिए उन्हें कार्तिकेय कहा गया।

नक्सली का तमिल रूप 'सरवणी' होगा, जिसका अर्थ है नदी की घास के जंगल में पैदा होने वाला। जन्म के बाद, कार्तिकेय ने बांस के कंधे पर लटकने वाले भार (कांवर) में पानी के बर्तन उठाए और उन्हें कैलाश पर्वत तक ले गए, बिना बर्तनों को ज़मीन पर रखे। यह पहली 'कांवर' यात्रा थी। नक्सली लोग इसी परंपरा का पालन करते हैं।

हमें कंधे पर लटकने वाले भार (कांवर) की ये तस्वीरें हड़प्पा के प्रतीकों में भी मिलती हैं। इसका मतलब है कि हड़प्पा के शहरों में भी कांवर और नक्सली की पूजा होती रही होगी। नक्सल घास से बनी चटाइयाँ आज भी लोकप्रिय हैं। हो सकता है कि प्राचीन वैदिक काल में बंगाल से हड़प्पा के शहरों में इनका निर्यात किया जाता था।

तो कार्तिकेय या नक्सली या मुरुगन पहले कांवरिया थे, जिन्होंने उस इलाके की नदी के पानी के बर्तनों से शिव की पूजा की, जहाँ नक्सल घास उगती है। जिस नदी के किनारे नक्सल घास उगती है, वहाँ पूजा किए जाने वाले शिव को 'नक्सलेश्वर महादेव' कहा जाता है। तो 'दिमागी नक्सली' एक शिव-भक्त है, जो शिव और कार्तिकेय की पूजा में लीन रहता है, जैसे प्राचीन तमिल नयनार संत थे।

सनातन धर्म (BoSD) की खूबसूरती इन शानदार कहानियों में है। 'दिमागी नक्सली' शिव-भक्त और पहले कांवरिया हैं, जो शायद हड़प्पा के शहरों से थे। जय नक्सलेश्वर महादेव।

क्या 'दिमागी नक्सली' सच है, कल्पना है या आस्था? आप तय करें। इस्लाम के विपरीत, हिंदू ज्ञान मौखिक है, लिखित नहीं।

In the late 1920s, she was in Germany pursuing her doctoral degree in Anthropology at the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute under the prominent academic Eugen Fischer. Fischer was driven by a mission to prove that racial inferiority was biologically determined, operating on a strict hypothesis of Aryan superiority.
​Risking her academic career as a scholar under such a man, she directly contradicted Fischer’s theories. She presented her own research findings that there was no biological basis for racial superiority, least of all tied to skull size. Unsurprisingly, Fischer gave her the lowest possible grade yet she stood resolutely by her scientific integrity.
​Her name was Irawati Karve, India’s first female anthropologist and a true trailblazer who rejected age old customs and gender inequality.
Born in 1905 in Burma, her name was inspired by the Irrawaddy River.
​Throughout her life, she consistently challenged dogmatism. Her celebrated book 𝘠𝘶𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘢, a critical study of the Mahabharata, won the Sahitya Akademi Award, even as it drew the wrath of orthodox sections of society.
​In one of her papers, she offered a profound critique of religious intolerance -
​"Many Hindus dream that if the government were wiser, it could rid India both of Muslims and Christians so that one has an entirely Hindu India. It is foolish to think one can establish uniformity and keep it as such through ages. Without the Muslims and Christians, there were bitter wars between Buddhists and non-Buddhists, between Jains and Hindus in the South and between Shaivas and Vaishnavas. The rational humanitarian’s aim cannot be the establishment of one religion but to bring about conditions by which people of different cultures can live together in mutual understanding and respect."
​On August 11, 1970, Irawati Karve passed away. Her fierce courage, intellectual honesty, and invaluable contributions deserve to be remembered and celebrated.
