Last night, Pakistan launched attacks on several Indian cities. Our response today was measured, an ideal chance for them to back off with dignity. But they chose not to. Instead, they’ve escalated further, launching fresh attacks on our cities. Their Defence Minister openly states that war is their only option.

So spare us your sanctimonious calls to "de-escalate." Keep that nonsense to yourself, or better yet, take your white flags to the border and plead with the Pakistanis to de-escalate, not to us. We’re done playing nice.
