SIR should not be scrapped at any cost!
The last time SIR was conducted was between 2002 and 2004. The current SIR process began in 2025, after a gap of more than two decades.
The period in between included the COVID-19 pandemic, which claimed millions of lives.
What propagandists are telling you is that 13.39 crore voters have been removed from electoral rolls through SIR. But what they won't tell you is that
Out of 13.39 crore entries:
A) 2.80 crore were categorised as deceased voters.
B) 6.30 crore were categorised as people who had permanently shifted.
C) 3.01 crore were categorised as people who were absent or could not be traced.
D) 1.02 crore were identified as duplicate registrations.
E) 0.26 crore fell under other categories.
These figures add up to 13.39 crore.
All those who are talking about errors should also accept one basic fact that no large administrative process can guarantee 100% accuracy. Errors and human mistakes can occur.
Consider the NRC exercise in Assam. It was conducted under the supervision of the Supreme Court, yet the process still involved claims, objections, verification, and legal scrutiny.
Similarly, if an eligible citizen's name has been wrongly excluded during SIR, that grievance must be heard. The person must have a fair opportunity to establish eligibility and seek correction.
But the existence of errors does not automatically mean that an entire SIR process should be abandoned. It means that errors must be identified, investigated, and corrected.
SIR should not be scrapped. In fact, if there is already so much chaos surrounding the process, why stop at SIR? It is right time to implement the NRC as well. Let's deal with both together!

Rahul Gandhi has nowhere to hide.
After the Pharmacy recruitment scam in AAP-ruled Punjab, fresh allegations of recruitment irregularities have now rocked Congress-ruled Karnataka.
Candidates have alleged large-scale malpractice in the recruitment of 400 Veterinary Officers by the KPSC, demanded cancellation of the entire process, and even claimed that posts were allegedly being sold for as much as ₹80 lakh through middlemen.
So, a simple question:
What has Arvind Kejriwal done about the Pharmacy recruitment scam in Punjab? And what does Rahul Gandhi have to say about the serious allegations surrounding the KPSC recruitment process in Karnataka?
Their outrage seems highly selective. When recruitment scams surface in states governed by the I.N.D.I alliance, there is only silence. Students and aspirants deserve accountability everywhere, not political convenience.
When General Category was raising voice against UGC guidelines & demanding Dharmendra Pradhan resignation - BJP IT cell was attacking us viciously.
They even tried to put me in jail under SC/ST act.
Today, when they need support. No GC supporting them.
You reap what you sow!
My take: Those who indulge in vandalism and hooliganism deserve more than just tear gas, and those who support the anarchists deserve a prolonged jail term. Got it @sardesairajdeep

Forget resignation - not even a word of apology from him !
So, spokesperson of CJP, Vijeta Dahiya, the one who kept dancing on every platform, who abused Swami Premanand Maharaj did not participate in the protests yesterday? Is that correct?
That was nothing.
Nowhere near enough to wash away the sins of the likes of you court jesters of the government masquerading as journalists.
So no, we aren’t happy.
You deserve to be kicked out for what you’ve done to this country, spewing lies and propaganda day in and day out without an ounce of shame.
I hope that answers your question.
Now try asking the people in power some questions about the institutional decay plaguing this country. But I suppose that’s unlikely to happen when you’ve sold your spine for cheap bucks.
