Also why I think Joe Gibbs is the Goat coach in football. Took 3 Washington teams with different QBs to championships. Far more impressive than Belichick riding Brady's coattails to 6 rings. Evaluating coaches should be based on how they elevate the talent that they're given.

This is why Erik Spoelstra and Pat Riley are all-time great coach/GM tandem. They're lifting average talent to the NBA finals. I could coach Jordan/Pippen to a championship (Phil Jackson) or Tim Duncan/Manu/Tony Parker (Popovich).
