Ulyana was just a little girl growing up in Mariupol. She lived in a house with cats and dogs, went to school, and played with her friends. Then Russia invaded.
She spent two months hiding in a basement with no phone, internet, water, or gas.
On March 5, 2022, her family tried to escape through a humanitarian corridor. They were watched as russian soldiers opened fire on civilians trying to flee and shot them to death.
Eventually, Ulyana and her family managed to escape. They stayed in a refugee camp before finally making it to Bulgaria.
Ulyana’s dogs were left in Mariupol. They had been injured, and the family couldn’t take them along. She never got to see them again. She still thinks about her old room and life she had before the war Russia started.
“Putin was not content with murdering Boris Nemtsov. He has also tried to erase his name, to eradicate his memory. But he has failed. Because, over these past 11 years, cities across the world have led a campaign of commemoration.”

‘Can you believe it ? We survived,ʼ Nadiia says, smiling through tears in disbelief, then almost crying , then smiling again to her 1 y.o. son on the swing. She was just feeding him, at home, when the explosion hit - the warhead of a downed Russian drone detonated next to her
Spójrzcie, Amerykanie, zwłaszcza ci z was, którzy już napełnili baki swoich samochodów olejem napędowym od zbrodniarza wojennego z Kremla. Wy również powinniście spojrzeć @antonioguterres@UN
To put this in laymen's terms, Musk and Trump are now hobbling Ukraine's ability to protect its civilian population from a type of Russian drone that functions more like a cruise missile. This is not the United States adopting a neutral position vis-a-vis the war. This is the United States facilitating Russian terror.
😢 Russian attacks killed 328 civilians and injured 2,105 in Ukraine in September, an 85% increase from last year.
The UN says the first two weeks of October were among the deadliest for civilians in recent years.
russia is apparently so strong, so powerful, and winning the war so decisively that it needs the President of the United States to pressure Ukraine into stopping its attacks just to keep russia from collapsing.
Some superpower.

Ryabushka survived a missile attack on a train depot, but she lost her health, home and peace of mind. Soldiers evacuated her. And now vets are preparing the dog for her first surgery. Help us pay for her treatment 🙌

Persone uccise dai russi al mercato delle pulci di Kharkiv. Povera gente, spesso pensionati, che vendono oggetti di poco valore, beni personali. Anche loro parlano russo. Anche loro uccisi dai criminali di guerra russi
