I’ve felt drawn to the Catholic Church the past 10 years.
At seminary, I studied the evidence; the barriers fell away 1-by-1. I completed 2/3 of catechism before I had to put it on hold.
I’m very happy to learn today that this sincere desire already unites me to the Church❤️🔥
This young priest wonderfully explains the dogmatic declaration - "outside the Catholic church, there's no salvation." "Extra Eclessie Nulla Salus".
What do you think?
"True Christianity will seem socialist to neo-conservatives, fascist to neo-liberals, feminist to red pill guys, and misogynistic to feminists.
The balance and perfect law and order of Christ is something that will be interpretted as too much by those who are in disharmony witih existence."
Those who strive to “succeed” as Christians often become the worst kind, yet ironically, those who have tried and failed miserably often become the best.
Loving God 100% sounds nice and all, but arriving at that point involves an excruciatingly painful process of severing ties with addictions and false idols - radical amputation no less.
"All will come of its own accord in good time and with abundant fullness, so long as one does not attempt to hoard or cling ... Do not hoard, do not cling — not even to life itself." Rohr
“The persecution of religion by science has relatively, perhaps, only begun; but it is already at work, in we know not how many obscure cases of pedantry and cruelty. The mystics are very likely to become the martyrs when the psychologists become the kings” GK Chesterton
