At #RSNA2020 we are demonstrating a #structuredreport that analyzes total #cancer burden which can be messy, thus we filter disease based on rates of progression to automatically identify and characterize mixed response.
Virtual networking at #RSNA2020 seems like Tinder for #radiologists (i.e., it is called Matchmaking). I only wish that it had employed swipe left/swipe right.
Structured reporting incorporating a multidisciplinary ontology is key for connecting medical information. This allows for laboratory tests relevant to specific radiological findings to be integrated with pathology and treatments in disease timelines. @RSNA@RadiologyACR@ASCO
Look mom, no dictation! Automated tumor assessment using multimedia structured reporting and PACS interface to graph radiological measurements. @structuredreporting @RSNA@RadiologyACR@ASCO
A ViSion radiology report can be exported in various formats, including html, pdf, text, xml, and json, to meet the needs of clinicians, patients, and other end-users of structured data. #StructuredData#structuredreporting
In ViSion we label image findings, either automatically based on when a finding is first identified or by a user-defined label. The purpose is to distinguish individual lesions that exist within the same anatomical location. #StructuredData#structuredreporting
One of our latest ViSion innovations has been to integrate radiological findings with other events (e.g., surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy) from which we can efficiently illustrate a patient's story and calculate medical outcomes. #StructuredData#structuredreporting
@EricTopol Excellent synopsis! My team is striving to address several of these items, particularly with regards to connecting a patient's data throughout a lifetime in a meaningful fashion from which to derive medical knowledge.
The goal of high-quality radiology reporting should be to advance a patient forward along a clinical spectrum, and once a disease is established, follow the disease consistently until resolution.

A young radiologist pitched his AI solution all week at RSNA 2018, starting with, โDo you know about Deep Learning?โ
Without missing a beat, my colleague quipped , โYes. Iโm deep โฆ (and pointing to another) sheโs learning.โ Brilliant!

How do we measure radiology report value? By tagging image findings with Priority & Quality metadata and using the product as a measure of Value. Insignificant observations are low value but Life-threatening or Path-proven diagnoses are higher value. #RSNA18#structuredreporting

@CincyKidsRad@RadiologyACR@Dr_Hightower In that case, my team is attempting to create a Roomba solution that creates structured data from a radiologist's narrative descriptions which are linked to other medical information/events in order to generate knowledge.
While accessing the ECR electronic poster website today (https://t.co/kNnpphQVq2) I was surprised to find that ViSion was featured. I always wanted to be the pinup of the month!
