Wow sun is out so lockdown must be over in the Trossachs !!! Far too many motorcyclists, vans with canoes, dingys, and cycles on the roof heading through Callander.
So much for enjoying exercise in your own area!!
@lomondtrossachs
The message is still clear! Scotland's #lockdown rules may have been relaxed slightly but our National Park @lomondtrossachs remains off limits to anyone who doesn't live in the area. We will still be here when it's safe to visit! 💚🌍🌲🐿️ @strathardct@BLSCT@EastLochLomond
Plea to visitors to ‘stay away' from Stirling's rural beauty spots - @LochLomondCEO Gordon Watson, pleaded for people to follow government advice to exercise locally and not to travel.
However, the advice on non-essential travel has not changed
A view from a medieval fortress out over Loch Ness. What could be more perfect than that?
Urquhart Castle plays host to a pretty special view!
We're thrilled to be opening #AWindowOnScotland's castles, abbeys, forts and brochs with @VisitScotland.
I’ll be honest, I’m struggling a bit here, normally I’m positive but just occasionally there is a sense of foreboding that takes me aback and I feel it now. Thanks to @joolsnairn and all of the rest of u who r so kind, it means a lot:) and to the tiny minority of idiots f**k off!
Please don't travel to the National Park unnecessarily this weekend and continue to follow the national lockdown guidance:
- exercise close to home
- don't drive to exercise
- don't meet in groups outside of your household
- keep 2 metres from others.

I am VERY tempted.... this is a very swish fire pit / bbq - not only is it smokeless but you can control the flame via an app on your smartphone! #hightechfire#intrepidessentials#coolkit @ Intrepid:Scotland https://t.co/I5lbRCfUct
Our bonnie country will still be here when it's safe to visit again, for now please continue to show your love for #Scotland by staying home and staying safe 💕 #StayHome 📍 Callanish Standing Stones, Isle of Lewis 📷 IG/kimkjaerside
Although we might be getting closer to some easing of #Lochdown restrictions the @scotgov have assessed that the #COVID19 danger to public health remains high. Stick with it now and the sooner we can all get out and enjoy @lomondtrossachs#NationalPark again. You know the drill👇
Although the limit on exercise will change from tomorrow. All other lockdown restrictions remain the same, including staying local for your exercise. Please keep up the good work and follow the guidance below 👇🏻
Thank you to everyone for complying with national lockdown guidance. Please keep it up. That means staying local, not driving for daily exercise, not heading to the countryside for adventures/camping and not socialising in groups. We look forward to welcoming you in safer times.
Thank you to those who are observing the current restrictions. @lomondtrossachs and all it has to offer will be waiting to welcome you in safer times. Until then, stay safe, stay well and stay home. #Lochdown
It's looking like another sunny weekend ahead. Please avoid temptation and do not head to the countryside. We must all follow national guidance and #StayHomeSaveLives. That means:
🔴Staying local
🔴Not driving to take your daily exercise
🔴Not socialising in groups
Thank you.
