Other times the fear of your visibility threatens their ego. They’ve not learned how to claim the space they need to show up as their whole selves in the world, & therefore demand you too shrink into a lesser version of yourself.

Sometimes the fear of your visibility invokes caution in themselves. They’ve learned that being visible makes you a target & being a target is dangerous. They’re afraid of your demise & therefore encourage you to take up less space in the world.

Other people will attempt to force you into a version of yourself that makes them more comfortable.
