Tomorrow is International Women's Day and we'll be celebrating a true Ditchling icon - Ethel Mairet.
Weaver, spinner, dyer, teacher and all-round inspiration, Mairet established a worldwide reputation as a pioneer for experimentation in textile design. #IWD2021
To celebrate World Book Day we're showcasing a local bookbinder/artist based at The Turner Dumbrell Workshops. Kate Baker-Brown has been an artist in Ditchling for the past 25 yrs. Using her most loved processes, Kate makes sewn work, books and prints using natural materials.
Camp in the famous secluded glades in the heart of @BlackberryWoods. You will have your own clearing with a fire pit. Kids, campfires & bbq’s are encouraged! Discover freshly upgraded funky shower & toilet facilities, you’ll even love washing up in the new hand crafted sink area.
Hoping to staycation from mid April? Ditchling will be open (subject to the Government guidelines).

Have you visited Lodge Hill? What's your favourite walk in Ditchling? 🤔
Getting out for a walk at the moment is a necessity for everyone but please don't forget the countryside code, ie closing gates; taking rubbish home; putting bagged dog mess in the bin and keeping dogs on a lead when in a field with animals. Thank you so much🙏
