At first glance it resembles chocolate cake, but the deep dark color comes from dried macerated fruits. Prunes, currants, raisins, and glaced cherries are chopped finely then soaked in red wine and rum. The fruit mixture is added to batter with aromatic flavorings and warm spices

Moonhole is an architectural wonder. The unique eco-resort in Bequia was built with local stones in the 1960s. The name “Moonhole” derives from a natural volcanic rock arch where the moon is sometimes visible
