The convenience stores are already staffed with tons of foreigners.
The cleaning jobs are already done by foreigners.
And if you ask many of them, they canโt wait to get enough money to leave Japan.
This is not the same as the West.
@nzpoliticsgroup Agreed that there are unforeseen events. But printing is like heroin.
Unforeseen events need to be paid from short term loans or saved surpluses or spending cuts.
Never printing.
@nzpoliticsgroup It depends, I suppose. If people had realised and organised - maybe there was a way out. But maybe Iโm unrealistic.
I donโt know if there was ever a party running on fiscal responsibility enough to make a difference.
@nzpoliticsgroup Yes, printing up to 400 Million per week.
It never even made the news.
But the rot started the second we granted the Government the power to print. And faith in โeconomicโ experts to manage that process.
Guess what? They ripped you off.
@ausstockchick When you allow your government to print money, you are no longer in control of your wealth.
You handed it off to โexpertsโ, and they screwed you.
@AverageSteveS@iamyesyouareno Around 98% of applications for citizenship here are approved.
You do need to be able to speak the language and not have been to prison. Apart from that, youโre in.
@colinasplin70 @rationalaussie Iโm paying 1000 a month Japan. Small place for sure. But modern and great neighbourhoods. 30 seconds walk to train station.
