An update on Imran Khan's pending decisions with the courts:
Cypher: Ex Prime Minister Imran Khan and Ex Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi were sentenced to 10 years each on charges of treason. The conviction was challenged in the Islamabad High Court by our legal team led by Barrister Salman Safdar. The farcical jail trial in itself was an embarrassment for the judiciary.

It was reassuring to have the case heard in open court where the hearings were regularly attended by lawyers, parliamentarians, and senators. The case is being heard by the divisional bench headed by Chief Justice IHC Amir Farooq along with Mian Gul Hassan. Lawyers who were attending said, Barrister Salman Safdar had presented excellent arguments, and the divisional bench could have overturned the convictions towards the end of Ramadan. But the courts gave a fair chance to the governments lawyer, who has been reading out the law book to us for past several hearings! The prosecutor has asked the bench for an additional hour to complete his arguments. Salman Safdar needs another half hour to wrap up. That is a total of 90 minutes.

Monday afternoon, the 3rd of June is the date for everyone to watch out for. Inshallah, this is the day the shameful case of treason against Pakistan's Ex Prime Minister and Ex Foreign Minister, will finally be buried. Convictions quashed!

Imran khan always said" I will face all my cases and place my faith in the judiciary". Now we pray the judges will dispense justice and restore the faith of the people in the judicial system of Pakistan.

خدارا اپنے بچوں کو کسی بڑے کی نگرانی میں مدارس اور مساجد میں قران پڑھانے بھیجیں۔ جو والدین گھر میں ٹیوشن یا قران پڑھوائیں وہ ایسی جگہ چنیں جہاں وہ نظر رکھ سکیں۔ پاکستان میں بچوں کو زیر نگرانی رکھنے کی عادت اپنانی ہو گی تب ہی وہ جنسی درندوں سے بچ سکیں گے۔ اپنی ذمہ داری نبھائیں
