Chelsea look to have the easiest route through but it depends which Chelsea turns up. Will Hazard bow out of the Bridge with a CL flourish? But don't underestimate Porto. You don't get this far without being very good. This tie may provide an upset
In the CL draw, Man U v Barcelona is a mouth-watering tie. I know Barca will go into it as favourites but no-one should write United off. I think they can win. The Catalans are a very good team but not as good as they were and United are on a roll.
The Spurs-Man City tie is an equally exciting prospect. For Spurs to win, they need all their big players fit and firing. Then they might have a chance. But City are not favourites for nothing. Their squad is so strong they can beat anyone. I think they will edge it.
I can't say I'm shocked that Mourinho has been sacked. The most obvious thing I've seen over these last couple of years is that his United team had no identity and he never seemed to know what his best team was
Next, I would move heaven and earth to get Pochettino. He is the only man for the job and if it costs ยฃ20 million, so what? It's just cost them nearly that to get rid of Mourinho, so let's not worry about what it might take to get the Spurs boss
Of course, everyone has their time and eventually all our times are up. Maybe Graham has reached that point.ย But I hope he can get over the current campaign to unseat him and go from strength to strength
It's very sad to hear of Graham Taylor's troubles. Graham, in his role as chairman and CEO at the PFA, has always been there for me, came to my aid when I needed it most and made the PFA what it is today
He improved the lot of players tremendously. Before him, players had virtually no power and no say. Now, players are front and centre in all decisions.
