Meta Platforms $META plans to compete with Chinese AI models by monetizing Muse through subscriptions rather than advertising, according to Nikkei.
Chief AI Officer Alexandr Wang says Muse currently has no ads, with no plans to introduce them.
Meta is also targeting paid enterprise services and commissions from purchases completed through AI agents.
$MU $NVDA Jensen does NOT expect a memory oversupply by 2029. Of course not.
“We’re going to continue to use abundant amounts.”
Makes sense. Nvidia scaled back Rubin Ultra’s HBM because HBM4E supply and yields can’t keep up.
No, China doesn't have HBM3E/4, let alone HBM4/4E
i got curious about what dario (anthropic CEO) is predicting next, so i went through all his recent essays and interviews
if he keeps being correct, here's what our future timeline looks like:
> 2026: someone builds a $1B company with just 1 employee
> late 2026-early 2027: AI matches or beats nobel prize winners in most fields, from biology to math
> 2027: chinese AI catches up to Mythos, the model anthropic kept from the public because it's so good at hacking
> 2027-2028: AI gets better than every human at almost everything, with millions of copies running 10-100x faster than us
> 2027-2028: AI starts building the next generation of AI on its own
> 2028: AI is using 100 gigawatts of power, about a fifth of all the electricity america uses
> by 2030: AI disrupts half of all entry-level office jobs
> before 2030: AI brings in trillions of dollars a year, and the economy grows 10-20% a year
> early 2030s: cancer deaths drop 95%, alzheimer's becomes preventable, and nearly every infectious disease can be prevented or treated
> early 2030s: most mental illness, like depression and PTSD, becomes curable
> 2030s: sub-saharan africa gets as rich per person as china is today
> 2030s: the human lifespan heads toward 150
The United States is rushing to move some diplomats and their families out of several Middle Eastern countries amid fears of a regional escalation.
State Department this week ordered non-emergency staff and all family members to leave Saudi Arabia following increased Houthi attacks on the kingdom, while quietly reducing staff at embassies in Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, the UAE and Lebanon without public announcements.
Many of those leaving had only recently returned after being ordered out at the height of the Iran war, with one diplomat saying “to say it has been chaotic is an understatement” and a source in Amman describing a “very Groundhog Day vibe.”

$NVDA CEO Jensen Huang says a memory glut by 2029 is unlikely because "you can always use more of it" which is huge for $MU and $SKHY.
Even with China's CXMT ramping production I think the bigger threat remains standard DRAM rather than advanced HBM powering AI GPUs.

The robotics community is something special! 🫶🏼
The vibes, the people, the ideas, the momentum, and of course, the robots.
NVIDIA GTC is one of those events where the whole physical AI ecosystem shows up in one place.
You just walk the expo floor and run into friends at every booth (or they run into you :D).
It was great to hear Jensen sound so confident about a future full of robots:
“General-purpose robotics is advancing at extraordinary speed, the ChatGPT moment for robotics is fast approaching.”
Loved the Microduck cameo at the keynote too. Lovely bots, @Thom_Wolf and team!
And the European robotics scene is on fire as well! 🇪🇺🧯
Here’s everything that dropped during GTC 👇
→ Munich-based Agile Robots SE unveiled Agile ONE SN, a full-stack research humanoid that ships preconfigured with Isaac GR00T on Jetson Thor.
→ @NVIDIARobotics made Isaac Lab 3.0 generally available and launched Isaac OS, a new open-source runtime that ties together AI, sensors, controls and hardware.
→ KUKA is adding Omniverse libraries to Visual Components FactoryLens for real-time rendering in factory simulation.
→ @ABBRobotics is integrating Omniverse libraries into RobotStudio HyperReality, so customers can simulate and virtually commission robot systems before installation.
→ @NEURARobotics launched 4NE1 Gen 4, a humanoid that is 20% lighter than the previous generation, has a sensorized textile skin, and runs on its new Neuron AI model.
.... and many, many more news on the robotics side!
Thanks sooo much for a great week in Berlin, you all rock! 🇩🇪
See you next time!

AI credit spreads are widening with $ORCL five-year CDS up ~10x in a year and $AVGO now guaranteeing debt tied to Anthropic's ~$35B chip financing.
That doesn't change how strong AI demand remains but shows just how much capital companies are willing to commit to bringing more compute online.
Close your laptop. Claude Duet keeps working. Anthropic's new proactive agent runs on its own cloud computer, checks your connected apps every few hours and sends a morning brief. Powered by Opus 5.5, it can prepare meetings, chase unpaid invoices, build dashboards and flag problems without waiting for you to ask.
Duet carries over your Claude memory, skills and connected apps, and asks for approval before sending messages, making payments or deleting files. It's a separate app for iOS, Android and the web, starting with a waitlist for US Pro and Max subscribers. Background checks count toward your existing Claude usage limits.

$MU says each wave of AI is driving massive memory demand with ~4x more HBM per GPU for training, 30x annual context growth for agents and over 10x more DRAM in robotaxis.
AI is creating an entirely new level of demand across HBM, DRAM and storage as each wave builds on the last rather than replacing it.
The older generation thinks the youth are doomed. The youth think the older generation is irrelevant.
Truth is, every era is conditioned by its own environment new tech, changing culture, and different information channels.
People have been repeating this exact argument since the beginning of time. An endless loop.
Russian fishing vessels are suspected of spying on critical undersea communication cables linking Britain with Europe and the US.
Over 500 suspicious movements involving 17 vessels have been identified, with ships repeatedly slowing down, changing direction and following cable routes.
British officials fear this activity could help Moscow identify targets for future sabotage.

New Google DeepMind and Cambridge paper shows that an AI agent can discover new math itself, proving exact rules for 11 unsolved Turing machines.
AI can move from answering human-posed math questions to open-ended discovery, shown by a Gemini-based agent that found and Lean-verified new rules for 11 Busy Beaver machines with no prior documented analysis.
It tested edge cases in a simulator, drafts informal proofs, and then proves the rules in the Lean proof checker.
