The driver of the property tax crisis was asset price inflation driven by post-Covid federal overspending. The spending spree in D.C. needs to end, but in the meantime here’s my plan to fix the property tax crisis in Ohio. 💪🏼
Two keys to unleashing Ohio’s economy:
1. Unleash energy production
2. Workforce development, including through education in the trades.
Pair that with a zero income tax & cutting red tape, and we’re going to have an economic boom next year.
More people have been harmed by bad climate change policies than they have by “climate change” itself. It’s time to drill, frack, continue using coal, and embrace nuclear energy. That’s how we bring down electric bills & drive an economic boom.
There are two very different versions of Ohio we could wake up to in November. It’s up to us to choose economic & educational success over socialist devastation.
Incredible celebration of America 250 tonight at the Columbus Air Show. We should be proud of our country instead of apologizing for it, well done to everyone at Rickenbacker Airport tonight. 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
An 11-year-old young man in Canton joined me at the front of the audience for a conversation. I asked him how he felt about civic education standards as a condition for high school graduation, which I would sign into law as Governor & which would apply to his generation. Listen to what he said.
Honored to celebrate America’s 250th last night with World War II veteran Robert Hickman. Today, he’s 101 years old & shared stories from his days as a B-24 tail gunner in 53 missions during the war. We owe it to the greatest generation to preserve & revive what they fought for. 🙏
Best part of yesterday’s America 250 at Rickenbacker was seeing all of the young people & families coming out to celebrate with pride. It’s still going on today & tomorrow, worth checking out if you can. 🇺🇸
Time to clean up crime on the streets in my hometown of Cincinnati. And we’ll do it in the other great cities across our state too. Walked the streets this week.
It’s time to bring law & order back to our cities without bending the knee to leftist anti-police activists. Good meeting with the local FOP leaders in Cincinnati, we’ve got your back.
Walked around the streets of Cincinnati tonight & listened to hard-working Ohioans who want to see safer streets, lower costs, and bigger paychecks. They may not be traditional Republicans, but I told them I’ll deliver for them equally, regardless of their party. 💪🏼
Ohio led the world in manufacturing. Akron was the rubber capital, Toledo was the “Glass City,” the Youngstown-Cleveland corridor was a great steel-producing bastion, Cincinnati was a machine-tool hub. It’s time for us to lead again. Great discussion yesterday with the Ohio Manufacturers’ Association.
Conservatism & conservation go together in Ohio. Great afternoon hiking the trails of Hocking Hills with the family today. Enjoyed my conversations with new friends including Jason who joined us for the trek. 🌳 🌳
