Surely I cannot be the only person who has been unfairly treated this way. How can @GoodyearIndia@Toyota_India be allowed to act as judge in their own matter in such an obvious case of deficiency of service in tyres which haven’t even run 6,000 km ?
“Big” companies are well know to follow the policy of DEFER, DENY AND DEFLECT, and that is what they did to me. @GoodyearIndia gives a 3 year “unconditional warranty” to tyres purchased by customers from tyre stores. Then why did they refuse the same to tyres which came
pre-installed in the car. Does @Toyota_India use “seconds quality” inferior tyres on their new cars ? Is that the reason @goodyear does not offer @ToyotaMotorCorp the same 3 year warranty support ?

@MadhubanToyota raised the issue with @GoodyearIndia who gave themselves a clean chit - attributing the damage to TWO NEW TYRES to external factors. So @GoodyearIndia acted like the jury & judge and “blamed the victim”.

Within 14 months & in less than 6,000km, TWO TYRES SIMULTANEOUSLY DEVELOPED IDENTICAL CRACKS (photos). These were original @goodyear tyres fitted by you when you sold me the car.

4. I have made no payments to Goodyear tyres & have only paid Toyota. Hence I hold Toyota totally responsible for installing these tyres when tyres of other companies which are suitable for Mumbai roads are available.
Kindly replace these tyres before they burst.

2. I was given no choice about the tyres which would be fitted.
3. I expected Toyota to use good quality tyres - and not ones which are unsuitable for careful driving
I never knew that Goodyear tyres were unsuitable for normal use on Mumbai roads !!
Goodyear has followed the classic strategies of large corporations:
1. Initially blame the complainant/victim
2. Defer, dismiss & finally deny their claim.
I am most disappointed with Goodyear !

I purchase my Hycross from Madhuban Toyota in Oct ‘23. Within 14 months & 5,800 km of careful driving on Mumbai roads, TWO TYRES (front R & rear L) SIMULTANEOUSLY developed identical cracks (photos).
Moreover, despite my written request, Goodyear could not certify that the tyres were safe to use. They also could not explain HOW TWO NEW TYRES COULD SIMULTANEOUSLY DEVELOP THE SAME ISSUE. This means that I will now have to change these 2 defective tyres for no fault of mine !
@virsanghvi@airindia@TataCompanies I too have lost count of the number of times that I have PAID MONEY to book a special seat - and the airline has just changed the seating arrangement and shamelessly not refunded the money DESPITE TIRELESS FOLLOW UP. Finally I had to give up each time. Good income stream !!

In such revolutionary projects, a difference of just 1% can mean a difference in success or failure. Dr. Jhala with his sheer passion, unquestionably dedication & deep scientific knowledge made a difference of at least 20% ! I’m worried for the cheetahs 😔.
