Unlike another major media (which I will not be sharing here) who interviewed only the "study authors" - who went full on ad-hominem against me (indirectly calling me anti-national), this report from @TOIIndiaNews breaks down the issue clearly and why it matters.

If you read this report, at one point, the main author and corresponding author tells the reporter that they have strong evidence to believe that platelet counts improve on Day 4 (give or take one day) - what does this even mean? The study's primary end-point was platelet count improvement on Day 7. But they reported it on Day 4 and now saying give or take one day?

This is why Expression of Concern was raised by the journal. Indirectly abusing me on newsmedia does not change post publication peer review system.
