You knew exactly what the movie Padmavat was about. You knew it portrayed the valour and sacrifice of Rani Padmavati and the women of Chittor who chose Jauhar rather than be captured and dishonoured. You knew this. And still you passed that statement.

That was not confusion. That was a choice.

Now, instead of apologising, you are giving this fake justification of “mistranslation.” People heard you. The clip is public. You used the sacred sacrifice of Rani Padmavati as a talking point and then pretended it was only about rape survivors. Do not insult everyone’s intelligence.

If your point was only that survivors deserve to live, you could have said that without dragging Rani Padmavati’s name and her Jauhar into it. You did not.

Stop the excuses. Apologise, with respect to Rani Padmavati, to the women who walked into the fire, and to those whose history you treated so casually.

We do not only say this. We will do this. Apologise, or face legal action.

Rs 2.5 Lakh Monthly Payout, But Only Rs 20,000 Salary!

An RTI revelation has exposed a little-known VVIP privilege that has sent shockwaves. The RTI reveals that the manner in which the salary structure of Telangana MLAs/MLCs are drawn up it is Telangana taxpayers who are reportedly picking up the income-tax tab of sitting legislators.

RTI shows that the legislators are paid only a small basic salary while the rest of their salary is paid out as reimbursements.

The practice means the tax liability arising from a legislator’s salary and perks is borne by the state exchequer, rather than the MLA.

The Governor had reportedly raised concerns over the arrangement weeks ago.

Other states are moving away from such tax exemptions but Telangana isn't.

गुरुग्राम के मेदांता अस्पताल में शाहजहांपुर उत्तर प्रदेश निवासी एक 30 वर्षीय युवक की मृत्यु के बाद उसका मृत शरीर परिजनों को नहीं सौंपा जा रहा है।

परिजन 23 लाख रुपया भर चुके हैं अभी 18 लाख रुपया और मांगा जा रहा है।

अस्पताल इतना ढीठ है कि ना तो प्रशासन की बात मान रहा है और ना सुप्रीम कोर्ट के ऑर्डर और ना NHRC की गाइडलाइन को फॉलो कर रहा है।

अब इस अस्पताल का इलाज करने मैं स्वयं जा रहा हूँ।
