@MsPhanLearns Makes gd sense. 1 school in St. Paul MN & 1 in Rochester MN distributes current required school days over 12 months with more breaks. These schools have air conditioning. Optional camps during breaks. During heat waves last 2 yrs. older sch went virtual as classrms unbearable.
Is a deep belief & 1 that concentrates power with teacher. Does not surprise me as 4 20+ yrs observed many colleagues model this behavior when teaching. Structuring classroom as a community of learners is radical. Takes courage & being willing 2 b an outsider.
