@JosephKBennett Seed banks often seem to get targeted in war (Afghanistan, Iraq, Ukraine come to mind but sure there are more) - like a deliberate project to wipe out local knowledge and culture. Seems to speak to a sense of superiority on behalf of the coloniser that their own seeds are better
