@BriNA_234@swanbornbyleda As a further update though. I'm still tryign to work out a new work relationship with new devs that are currently fixing some performance issues related to the live version of vizref. the ios updates have kinda messed things up so we are fixing that first and testing currently.
New Update. New team of devs have saved the code base from an old repo. We had to roll back to V1.16 but are going to optimize and stabilize the performance of this version while also adding the "revert" button that was added in 1.17.
Thanks for your patience.
@BriNA_234@swanbornbyleda unfortunately We have to go a bit silent/ private with future updates as we have some chinese competitors that are aggressively trying to copy us and doing so by advertising their copy with AI Slop. I can try to answer dms here on twitter a bit better than email
@zeldrak noted thank you. I would prefer if this were a DM as we have run into some weirdo devs promoting their app using AI generated slop and I believe they are aggressively trying to copy us soooo please all new requests, keep them in dms :D
Development Update- First interview went well. I will be commissioning a coding team to review the latest code that we were not able to implement due to bugs as well as the release code. Main focus will be to estimate the time and cost of quickly releasing a performance patch.
@BriNA_234 1.1.7 sorry. we had to revert back to 1.1.6 and are working on optimzation and stability fixes first before adding new features. All new features will be free as always.
Vizref is STILL in development now that we have a new dev team on the job. We will be adding new features that were planned. First we optimize and bug fix. Getting Vizref optimal for new IOS. Then we will focus on new features again
@BriNA_234 with the new IOS announcement, updating the app has gotten a bit more difficult, but I'm still in talks with a dev team to do it! I promise we aren't abandoning Vizref
Update! I had to FIND the code!! I thought the programmers had it but It was on an old github account I made. Thank god I found it. I currently have two separate dev teams reviewing the release code and might commission a third team to review it to get an estimate on a new build
@lemon5ky@_Beezul@ImRud_ex I had already hired an entire team of contracted devs to work on it but they tried to convince me to rewrite ALL the code from scratch after I had already paid them 20k with no update up. Wasn't a good situation and have been trying to avoid similar things from happening.
✨Thanks everyone for your support and patience as we continue to update Vizref for you. I regret to inform you all that some development partners of ours have been affected by Covid.. Please send them your energy for a strong recovery.✨
@lemon5ky@_Beezul@ImRud_ex I explained it in a long post. No updates doesn't mean I wasn't trying to figure things out. I'm not a coder so I'm reliant on finding someone to work for me. Someone that can understand the code but also how the app should work.
@ImRud_ex@_Beezul@lemon5ky I totally understand. I want to make this app as quick and easy to use, now there are alternatives but they are clunky and slow. Vizref being fast was really the main reason in my opinion to use it. I'll keep you all updated as more interviews move forward. Two next week.
@Zhinse However, I was still able to hire people to do a few updates but it just wasn't scalable as the team wasn't knowledgable enough to work with the existing code.
Update on how development has gone for trying to get Vizref Updated.
As some may know, I'm an artist. Not a programmer. Vizref was originally designed by me through a series of photoshop ui mockups and details on how it should work-
@Zhinse I'm trying super hard. Originally I got into making this app with a partner who was meant to cover the tech side. We were going to split everything down the middle but he got a huge offer in games and left me trying to figure out how to keep updates going.
I will be updating here as soon as I have a coder doing an evaluation of the current live code of Vizref. We will throw away all new work being done and go back to the base code before adding anything new. Focusing on a general optimization build before anything else.
All people interested in the open App dev position Please only send me messages through Upwork. Another aspect of hiring in tech is dealing with people trying to hack my accounts with bad links. https://t.co/ryLs3ToTJv
On top of there just being a lot of fake coders in the pool to sift through now, many competent programmers went and chased crypto projects or new game studio startups that were popping up at the time. I'm just now able to find people with the skillset I'm looking for-
