@IncomeTaxIndia @cbic_india If a PAN is “Inoperative,” how can the bank account linked to it remain active? How can the same taxpayer file ITR, have TDS reflected, and even receive a refund, yet the deductor later faces a 20% TDS demand instead of 2%?

The TDS system needs better coordination. A PAN/Aadhaar mismatch shouldn’t automatically become a huge demand on a genuine deductor.

This is the Congress mentality, and we have seen its consequences in the past, whether it was the 2008 Mumbai attacks, the 2005 and 2008 Delhi blasts, the Mumbai train blasts, or many other attacks. We have also seen the kind of approach and decisions taken by Congress-led governments in dealing with national security and preventing such attacks. Congress failed on multiple fronts in the past, and in my view, it continues to be driven by the same flawed mindset and leadership.

If the older generation in ur family is still around, ask them how your ancestors survived 3–5 generations ago. If they’re honest, they will tell U that many of these so called Swarnas were the ones who worked, earned, and helped feed your ancestors as well.

Even today, in many villages, during Shradh, people come and collect food from others. So yes, you may be settled and earning today, but don’t forget your past or the people who helped your ancestors survive when times were difficult.

Babbling rubbish on a podcast and allegedly inciting or conspiring to facilitate communal riots are not remotely the same thing. Umar Khalid is facing serious allegations in the Delhi riots conspiracy case, including a role in planning and coordinating actions that prosecutors say contributed to the violence. Use your rational brain and understand the difference in the nature and gravity of the allegations before equating the two.
