@IndiGo6E
A sincere appreciation to Mr. Nitish Kumar, Senior Manager – Social Media Team, IndiGo, for personally getting in touch and taking ownership of the issue I raised.
The matter has now been resolved, with a full refund issued along with a sincere apology from IndiGo. What truly stood out to me was the promptness, accountability, and genuine effort to address the concern.

I am extremely disappointed by the way I was treated on an IndiGo flight from Coimbatore to Chennai (6th August 2026,9:45 PM – 10:35 PM), Seat 23C.
During the flight, water continuously leaked onto my seat, soaking my clothes, seat, and luggage. Instead of addressing the issue, the crew member, Ms.Sanantha, responded in an extremely rude and dismissive manner, asking me to "go sit somewhere" because there were vacant seats, without even acknowledging the inconvenience or showing basic courtesy.
For nearly 45 minutes, I sat in another corner seat, embarrassed and uncomfortable. No one checked on my well-being, offered drinking water, inspected the water leakage, or even attempted to protect or remove the wet luggage from the overhead cabin. A simple apology was never offered.
After landing, I recorded a video solely as evidence of the incident. The video contains no obscenity or invasion of anyone's privacy. As someone from the media, I am fully aware of the legal and ethical boundaries of recording evidence. I have not published the video and have kept it only as proof.
When I requested to meet the Captain and asked for the crew member's name, I was instead approached by crew members on the ground and repeatedly asked to delete the video. I was even told that an FIR could be filed against me, to which I responded that I had done nothing unlawful and was willing to cooperate if required.
What hurt me the most was not the water leak…it was the complete lack of empathy, accountability, and professionalism. No passenger deserves to be spoken to disrespectfully while simply asking for help.
I sincerely hope IndiGo investigates this incident, reviews the conduct of the crew involved, and ensures that no other passenger has to go through such a humiliating experience.
My ticket and all supporting evidence are available, and I am willing to share them with IndiGo if required.
